Vice President, Portfolio Reconciliation Implementation Manager - New York City

Position Summary
The successful candidate will be working as part of our OTC Derivatives Trade Processing Implementation team. They will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of the projects to on-board the Markit Portfolio Reconciliation tool, for our Fund Administrator clients are met in a timely manner. The candidate will also be required to work with clients on requirements gathering, client data and environment onboarding, as well as user testing. The position will be based in New York, NY.
Duties and Accountabilities
- Monitor and control implementation projects, reporting progress against plan to Management, Product Managers, Sales and other stakeholders
- Perform analysis of client and counterparty data for template mappings and definition of matching rules
- Conduct gap analyses
- Liaising with clients on data to determine proper mapping criteria during initial set up and through to reconciliation.
- Respond to client requests and provided detailed analysis and feedback to their questions
- Conduct user trainings
- Conduct Post-implementation review and prepare the Lessons Learned report and End Project report
- Work with template analyst to create and manage data templates
Business Competencies
- 5-7+ years of financial services experience, in the area OTC Derivatives reconciliations
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Close attention to details
- Advanced Excel skills including formulas, macros and V-Look Up
- Undergraduate degree in a financial/quantitative discipline with a minimum GPA of 3.3
