Role Summary
The role involves in defining and homogenizing work flows concerning index calculations and implementing them into TSQL as well as organizing work cycles, acting as interface between our IT and Equity teams, supporting them with his/her experience and know-how.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated skills in business analyses, testing and communication and will come from a financial background. A strong technical background will be ideal.
Duties and Accountabilities
- Drive requirements gathering and documentation process
- Analyse process workflows and produce flow diagrams
- Identify gaps in processes and solutions
- Use IT- expertise to help define best-fit solutions
- Ensure consistency of work flows across sub-systems
- Liaise with our IT and Equity teams to provide expertise and input where necessary
Business Competencies
- Ideally hold a minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or similar
- Proven track record as a business analyst
- Desire and ability to provide careful attention to detail
- Thorough understanding of the software development life cycle
- Strong interviewing skills
- Analytical and well organized
- Proven ability to work independently
- Expertise in MS Excel and MS Visio
- Ability to take tasks to conclusion
- Able to work competently on his/her own or within a team, taking a project through complete lifecycle.
- Past experience with equity, fixed income or credit markets a benefit
- Consolidated knowledge of stock evaluation
- A strong technical background will be an asset
- Fluent in both written and spoken German
- English is fluent enough for business
- Understanding and experience of financial services industry advantageous.
- Ability to understand business objectives and focus and prioritize multiple projects accordingly
