Associate, Batch Developer - SQL, Warehouse

Role Summary
We are looking for a developer to assist in migrating our data model to reflect the significant growth in the data volumes and the increases regulatory requirements.
Technical Skills
- Experienced Java and oracle sql developer
- Experience of oracle database design and data warehousing issues will be considered a benefit
- Knowledge of persistence engines, specifically hibernate is desirable
- Knowledge of unix or linux is a definite benefit
- The candidate must has excellent problem solving skills
- Knowledge of full lifecycle processes
- Experience of svn or cvs will be beneficial

- Education and experience: strong academics or equivalent in a numerical discipline and consistent track record of delivery to excellent standards
- Management Experience: able to work competently on his/her own or within a team and taking a project through complete lifecycle.
- Commercial Awareness: be comfortable dealing with senior individuals with a strong client and service orientation.
